Choir in Almeirim

The Choir was in Almeirim for the 77th Anniversary of the Christian Community/Assembly of God, at the invitation of our friend Pastor Jorge Humberto. The President of the Parish Council and the Mayor of Almeirim were also present. It was an honor and a blessing to serve, and we were also greatly blessed by listening to the sermon of Pastor Jónatas Figueiredo. Soli Deo Gloria.

Galician Luso Meeting

On October 14th, our Choir embarked on an exciting bus trip towards the beautiful region of Galicia in Spain, to participate in the Luso-Galego Meeting. With much enthusiasm, the members of the Life Sound Choir eagerly shared their musical talent in a memorable display that left a lasting impression on the Galician audience. The Event was a testimony to the unifying power of music and the cultural connection between the two countries.

Our “Uncle Ferrer”

Our “Uncle Ferrer” or as we affectionately called him “Old Man” passed away at the age of 87. He sang in the Tenors until he was 86 years old. Very lucid and active until the end of his career. The last performance is recorded in the 2nd photo, at the Municipal Auditorium of Figueira da Foz, when, while the Choir was singing, he came to the stage to smile and encourage the audience.

They bring with them a contagious joy, to which no one can remain indifferent. And this is how they define themselves: “We are people transformed by Jesus Christ, who strive to show that living Christianity does not mean being sad, downcast, amorphous, religious.
