Our “Uncle Ferrer”

Our “Uncle Ferrer” or as we affectionately called him “Old Man” passed away at the age of 87. He sang in the Tenors until he was 86 years old. Very lucid and active until the end of his career. The last performance is recorded in the 2nd photo, at the Municipal Auditorium of Figueira da Foz, when, while the Choir was singing, he came to the stage to smile and encourage the audience.

Last Saturday we had the Harmony Week Opening Ceremony at the Universidade Lusófona, we were all part of a very special event where cultures and religions crossed paths in full respect, in a maximum affirmation of democracy and citizenship, we felt uninhibited, happy and freed from all prejudice to Praise Jesus Christ whose tomb is empty.
