Armando Miguez, Musical Director and Leader of Life Sound Choir

When in September 1991 we started the Life Sound Choir, at the invitation of Pastor João Cardoso, I could not imagine everything that this choir has done over the years.

During this time some stayed behind, but many came together and we continued, for we have a conviction that burns within us: God is worthy of Praise and He has called us, not to worry so much about "performance" but to touch lives, with YOUR LIFE! We believe that many have been "touched" when we sing and we will continue. The Christian community where we belong is fundamental as it helps us with all the support. We are a FAMILY CHURCH with everything that implies.

As director and leader of such a special choir, as it is made up of people of character, full of joy, people who have paid a price to continue giving to others what God gave us, I can only say that I am privileged and I am grateful to God for giving me this job.

Looking back we climbed many steps, with effort but we climbed!
Looking forward there are even better things to happen.
We will always be an "all-terrain" choir.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE LOCAL CHURCHES AND COMMUNITIES
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE CHOIR
MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH, BECAUSE WITHOUT YOU WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE!!

Singing in the choir is expressing the deepest feelings of praise to God. It is blessing the ears and hearts of those who listen to us. It is reaching out to heaven. It is having inner strength when there is no strength. It is honoring the Creator. It is giving sound to uplifting messages. It is creating harmony with each individual's uniqueness and tones.

Singing in the choir gives me a great sense of belonging. It is a construction of love and care that grows stronger with each rehearsal, each event, and also through every challenge. It means belonging to a big family with its own particularities and virtues. It is being part of a real family, and more than singing, it is living what we sing!

I am very happy to be in this choir because there is an inseparable love and friendship and, however, I can worship and serve GOD in the way I always liked... singing!! 🙂

Paulo Cardoso, Pastor

On behalf of the church I pastor, I would like to once again thank the ministry of Life Sound Choir, for the joyful, dynamic and very anointed way in which they toasted those present at the AD Algés community dinner.

Making use of the message given by the Leader - Armando Miguez, the Estrela ministry took place yesterday in Alges. We are very grateful to God for you. I know and feel that it is for these moments that we are worth being: LSC

Belonging to this group is like having a family with whom I can share the good times and the bad. Sharing joys and sorrows, and receiving more love and help, are just some of the results of this.

But serving God through serving others is what motivates me most in this work. This keeps me strong and firm on the bad days, and gives me the courage to never give up. I love you all very much, and I know you love me too, because God's Love is what really unites us.

PSALM 20: 7-8

"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright." New King James Version (NKJV)
