Our “Uncle Ferrer” or as we affectionately called him “Old Man” passed away at the age of 87. He sang in the Tenors until he was 86 years old. Very lucid and active until the end of his career. The last performance is recorded in the 2nd photo, at the Municipal Auditorium of Figueira da Foz, when, while the Choir was singing, he came to the stage to smile and encourage the audience.

As Choir Leader, whenever I spoke to him he always supported me and encouraged me not to give up. Ferrer was a pioneer of the beginning of the evangelical church Assembly of God in Moscavide in the famous shed, where he played the guitar and witnessed episodes from the early 50s.

he was an example for everyone who participated in the Life Sound Choir's 32 years of existence. The departure hurts a lot, but we know that Ti Ferrer is in another dimension with Jesus Christ and all those who left faithful until the end.

“Velhão” you can now sing in an incorruptible body and you can always do it standing up. We'll see you mate. On behalf of the Choir, we offer our condolences to the Vida Abundante family and church in Moscavide. My dear Ferrer…. Let’s continue…!”

PSALM 20: 7-8
