The Life Sound Choir exists for 22 years and is composed of 33 amateur elements of several ages.During its existence the Choir presented diverse musical plays adapted from foreign productions, all carried through concerts all over Portugal and also abroad. In 2001 presented an original Christmas musical play, "VIDAS"(Lives) of much success. This play was totally composed by the choir, as much the argument as the lyrics and music. It was a production that, in the words of maestro Ruben Alves, when congratulating the choir musical director Armando Miguez, "turned a new page in the portuguese evangelic reality".
In May 2002 the Choir participated in its first TV show "Hundredth HERMAN SIC" at Convento do Beato with Karen Ribeiro (wife of football player Jardel at the time), and pastor João Cardoso, President of Centro Cristão Vida Abundante. Many guests were pleasanthy surprised having the Choir received words of incentive by Herman Jose himself and by fado-singer Maria da Fé, among others./p>
In 2004 the choir launched its first CD, the culmination of one year of intensive work that included a tour to Brazil (São Paulo and Rio De Janeiro) where it was very well received and applauded. In June 2005, LSC was invited to participate in the festivities of the Day of Portugal in Luxemburg, to where it went from the 10th to the 13th of June. The choir also presented compliments in the Embassy of Portugal to the Ambassador and to the Secretary of the Internal Adm. Dr. Ascenso Simões in representation of the Government, to whom a CD was offered.
In the 6th of July 2005 the Choir was been to "Portugal no Coração", a TV show at RTP1 watched in the whole world and presented by Jose Carlos Malato and Merches Romero. The Choir sang two songs and testified concerning its faith and joy, having received many words of incentive both at home and abroad.
Already in 2006 it was time for the choir to go to the TV Show Praça da Alegria, on November 1st, where the choir's joy and spontaneity spread troughout the studio, starting with the resident band. It was a pleasure to be with the hosts Jorge Gabriel and Sónia Araújo, who treated us distinctively.
In September 2016 LIFE SOUND CHOIR celebrated 25 years. She edited her 3rd CD "Canta e Vive" and was the cover of the magazine "Mulher Criativa" with interviews and testimonies.
In October 2016 she received a prize in the Gala of the 30 years of Sta. Casa da Misericórdia da Amadora.
On April 2007, by invitation of ChurchNovas de Alegria, LSC went to Terceira Island/ Azores where they acted on Angra do Heroísmo at the Praça Central and in the auditorium of Recreio dos Artistas. It was a magnificent journey at all levels.
October 7th 2007 is another milestone of our journey with the release of the "Vou Gritar" musical and the 2nd CD with the same title.
Recently, the Choir decided to renew its presentation and also its name, which changed to Life Sound Choir.
